Q6600 VS Q9400 budget build

I am planning on upgrading my core 2 duo/ 4gb ddr 2, gt 220 pc to a quad core, either q6600 or q9400. The q9400 more expensive, around 50% more than q6600. My question is: if both processors are overclocked to 3.0 or 3.2, is there any significant difference of performance between them? Which processor should I get?

There is a small difference between the 2 but if you are looking for price per pound then go for the Q6600 this still gives a good performance on medium demanding games such as CS:GO and Minecraft, but if you have the extra cash then why not get the 9400 ? :_)
