I got 2 free licences of Win7 Pro from MSDN Academic Alliance :)
Plus I have Win7 Ultimate from my work (corporate key) :) :)

My work PC has Ultimate, my home gaming rig has Pro and my HTPC has Pro.

64-Bit Ultimate!

I must have full control over my system and Ultimate gives me the control that Premium lacks.

Got Win 7 pro 64 bit for xp mode, wish I had checked it out better first, so many limitations in xpm that im finding it a waste of time, specially if you want access to optical drives to write to etc, only viewed as generic or as a shared drive ROM. Should have saved cash & got home prem & dual booted again.

[citation][nom]Exodite[/nom]I got Pro 64-bit from MSDNAA but I'd prefer to use Starter 64-bit if I could. Any edition above the latter only add functionality I neither want nor need.[/citation]
Wha??? No Peek, etc? How can you live with out Peek?

I use the one that is not really sold by Microsoft, but rather tweaked by 3rd parties. They usually have names like awesome and or lite edition.lol

Professional, because it was $30 with the student discount. Also didn't have any issues installing... I have a 64bit machine though.

Exactly the reason i got the Home Premium version and i dual boot into XP!

win 7 64-bit ultimate. I have a MSDN account, so I got it before the official release. I could get any version, so I picked up the flashiest one they have.
