Win7 Enterprise 64 (free, of course. Have to get something out of this expensive college education). Had it for a couple weeks now and really like it. And for reference, it is the same as Ultimate. XP Mode seems pretty cool too, though I have not used it for much. Dual booted with XP for now (probably until summer, as I have a lot of programs to switch over for a full reinstall and I don't want to do that during the semester).

Windows 7 Professional. At just $30 through the student upgrade deal, it's the obvious choice. There's nothing I need or want from Ultimate that would make it worth the large increase in price.

Running Windows 7 Professional, I didn’t need everything that ultimate came with. So far I am really pleased, it’s a big change from running XP.
Plus I picked it up during the presale in June for 1/2 price, ( although not for free like some of the lucky S.O.B's here)

I know now the benefits of running the 64bit version but the x86 one works fine for me. I may install it some day and try it out and compare. I read that with 4GB or more RAM, it gives you more of your memory. However Win7 Ultimate x86 on my Pentium 4 with 4GB of RAM is giving me 3.78GB of usable RAM that is more than plenty since I'm not using that as a gaming machine. Then again, that is a 32bit cpu anyway come to think of it. I am hoping that my core2duo board will allow me 8gb of ram upgrade with no headache and at which point I'd be installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit... because one copy was $50 and I'll be receiving another for free. Will probably buy a 3-pak to cover the remaining machines, then give the extra copy to my father.
