Quad core am2 cpu

Does anyone know any quads? All I see is am2+ quad compatible :/. I'd like to upgrade this stone age pc to 4 core and 2 r7 240's

If you don't know what the motherboard is, how do you know it can run two cards in crossfire? And why would you use two R7-240 cards instead of a single faster card? Get an RX 460 for a lower end gaming card, or nVidia GTX 750 Ti.

Once you find out the motherboard model (look on the thing, it will have a model number), you can look up that model on the vendor support site and it will tell you what CPUs will work with it.

I'm fairly sure It can crossfire, if it doesn't I'll end up getting 1050 ti for it I guess, It's mobo is K10N78FULLHD-HSLI. I was thinking getting crossfire instead of 1 gpu cause I already have an r7 240 which I picked up for 10 euros at garage sale

Did you look at that motherboard in the case and look up the specs? Do that and see if you can figure out what the issue may be to run dual video cards in it.
