QUAD Core for Dell optiplex 745 DT

Looking to upgrade the CPU in my Dell 745 DT. I have a core 2 duo E6400 right now and looking to get a Quad Q6600. After googling for a while this seems to be the best cpu that fits my mobo. If any one knows of a faster cpu that will run in the dell 745 please let me know or if I would run into any other complications.

Anyone know of software that will oc overclock the e6400 on the dell 745 ? I just uppated my video card to the galaxy 9600 gt 512mb and now feeling a bit power hungry. Wanna see what I can get out of this prossor before I buy the q6600 or q6700. Any help at all would be great!

(Yes the q6600 and q6700 will work in dell optiplex 745 Desktop, but may have to add 5.25 power supply or external psu)
