Hello there, last week i had a query regarding the desktop configuration for running high end games like crysis 3. I have been offered with the below mentioned solution. Well thnks to tomshardware for solving my query. I just have few more queries regarding the below mentioned config. If I go with a power supply of 650W instead of 550W as mentioned below then will the below mentioned motherboard can support it or should i go for a more powerful mother board.

  • Intel i5 4440
    Gigabyte GA-H81M-S Motherboard
    Seagate 1TB Hard Disk
    Transcend OEM (2 x 4GB) 8GB 1600MHz RAM
MSI Geforce GTX960 2GB DDR5 OC Graphics Card
BenQ GW2255 21.5-inch HD LED Monitor
Creative Inspire T3300 2.1 Multimedia Speakers
Antec VP Series 550W Power Supply (VP550P)
Antec X1-E Gaming Cabinet with Window - Black
HP C2600 Wired Multimedia Keyboard and Mouse (J2X04AA)
    LG DVD Writer

Feel free to advice anything else regarding the overall config.

Regards

Solution
"more powerful" is not really something you would say about a motherboard. You would say higher quality, more stable, more features.

If you wanted to upgrade the board, you would want an h97 chipset board. like the ASRock h97 pro4m.
thnks a lot for clearing this, also could you please let me know if the motherboard mentioned above can handle the load for the entire config I mentioned above as I wll be running high end games at max config. I am quite new to gaming and do not want to make fatal mistakes in config, therefore I would appreciate if you can just give a cross check and see if the config is ryt.

Thanks a lot
