Hey everyone, I'm pretty familiar with the computer hardware I'm running, but wasn't 100% sure. So my question is, if I were to upgrade my computers processor from an AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.20GHz to an AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 Eight-Core 4GHz AM3+ Processor would my computer and motherboard be able to support it? Would I have to upgrade my power supply or anything else? Here's my computer specs:

CybertronPC Trooper TGM2211F Desktop PC - AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.20GHz, 8GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, DVDRW, NVIDIA GeForce GT 520, 350 watt power supply.

Here's my computer: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=851772&CatId=114
Here's the processor I'm interested in:

Thanks in advance,

No you can not pick one, You can buy the 8320 instead and a new board for 40-60$ more than you were going to be spending

How would I be able to find my model ?

Alright, I currently have my computer opened up, and numbers Im seeing on my motherboard are:
Foxconn a76ml-k 3.0

I got my computer prebuilt, so would a motherboard be difficult to replace

I don't believe so all the parts you listed are found on newegg the board demands to have the same aspects as the new one you might even want to consider a new PSU you can get a much higher quality one for just 50$ a Antec 380 will be much more trustworthy for your pricey components(cheap PSU's that list big specs can kill your parts)

Thanks guys for all your help, I will definitely be looking into a new motherboard and PSU
