I am going to see if I can get a Sapphire R9 390x to run on my old X38 motherboard, but I noticed that my power supply does not have the two 8-pin connectors this card requires.
Silverstone DA750 Connectors:
1 x 24-pin motherboard connector (550mm)
1 x 8-pin EPS12V connector (550mm)
1 x 4-pin ATX12V connector (550mm)
1 x 8-pin PCI-E connector (550mm)
2 x Dual 6-pin PCI-E connector (550mm)
2 x triple SATA connector (500mm +250mm + 250mm)
2 x triple 4-pin IDE & single floppy power connectors
(500mm + 250mm + 250mm + 150mm)
I have never used cables that have not come with my PSU before, are there some 8-pins you guys know are safe and can recommend? Or should I use some kind of 6-pin to 8-pin adapters?
Thanks!
