Question Question about adding extra GPU for mining.

Hello, right now I have a gaming PC with a Ryzen 3700x CPU, Aorus b450 PRO WI-FI, and rtx 3070 ti. I have a 2060 I am not using right now and want to get it mining, I was planning on getting another PSU along with a Dual PSU Power Supply Extension Cable. I would get a riser and connect to PCIE slot x4 on my motherboard to run the second GPU outside of the case. I would be mining with both of them most of the time but while gaming I would like to be able to stop my 3070 ti from mining to game with. Is this possible?

not really sure but from a financial standpoint mining is pretty inefficient and you would be better off selling that GPU while prices are high instead of mining the crap out of it and then trying to sell a mined GPU once prices are low.
