The only ram that is guaranteed to work is a ram kit.

You can try 2 exact same make and model sticks. Sometimes they work.

2 with same timings, speed and voltage if not same make and model are very unlikely to work.

And 2 sticks not dsame make and model or speed, timings or voltage are almost guaranteed to not work.
