Hey everyone
Got a question for you all, this is on behalf of my friend.
First his specs:
asus M5A78L-MLX
Amd fx 6100
hyper 212 evo (cpu cooler)
8 gb 1600 RAM (partriot)
500 GB HDD
Win 7 Home edition
Recently he overclocked the fx 6100 to 4.3 ghz and ran prime for good 2 hrs as well as overdrive stability for good 1 hr and it was stable. However, his volatage or Vcore keeps spiking sometimes to 1.46, 1.47. In the bios though he has it set up to 1.44. So is it normal for vcore to pass the 1.44 even if its set up in bios as 1.44? Also is this bad? I believe during idle his temps are 31C for cpu and 35 for mb(using asus pc probe). His Vcore is usually at 1.08.
I was at his house and we ran amd overdrive...on the cpu status for temps it shows as 13-18C yet asus pc probe shows it as 31C? Why is that and which one would be accurate and if both are not accurate what program could he use to find out the accurate info?
Thank you and hopefully we can figure out what the issue is if there is any!
