Hello,
I want to record my pc gameplay, but when I use OBS or something like that, my fps drops by sometimes even more than half.

My main pc:
2 cpu's: Intel Xeon E5345 (2,33Ghz 4c/4t, so in total 8c/8t)
Gpu: Asus GT 730 4gb
Ram: 8gb DDR2 (god I want a new pc)

I was wondering if I could record with my second pc, or just to take my old gpu and install it to my main pc and to reduce the lagg when recording.

Second pc specs:
Intel Core 2 CPU 6300 (1,86ghz 2c/2t)
2gb of DDR3 Ram
Nvidia Quadro Fx 3400 (this crap actually came with my main pc, but I bought a GT 730 and replaced my quadro with it).

Thank you for anything.
Rip me.

Solution
Only chance is if the nvenc encoder works in OBS or just use Geforce experience/shadowplay.
On games that use 4 threads or less you could use affinity to limit the game to the first 4 cores and the recording to the last 4 cores and see if that's ok.
