I am using GTX 650 2GB and AMD FX-8120 (3.1Ghz) CPU. I got some money these days so I am planning to get GTX 970. However, some of my friends said my CPU is pretty bad to support GPU. Is it gonna be a problem if I upgrade my GPU to GTX 970?

Solution
The FX-8100 is a bit of a dog, yes. But not horrible. In some games on a busy server, it may bottleneck the GTX 970. Consider the GTX 960 FTW instead. Or the R9-280/280X.
But first, be sure you have a high quality PSU that is big enough to support those cards.
