Hello, I have yet to purchase MSI GAMING N750Ti TF 2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card from new egg, i have been speaking to someone over on HP Forums.. I’m new to upgrading and I don’t really understand it all that well. I am using a HP Pavilion HPE h8-1070uk Desktop PC. I just wanted to double check that the card would be compatible with my motherboard if i were to switch the card to legacy mode? Also does legacy mode work with all older motherboards? My motherboard is IPISB-CH2 (Chicago).Hope you can help. Many Thanks.

I did some forum hunting. It looks like quite a few other people have the same issue as you. The specific model of the 750ti you are planning to buy should work with your computer as long as it is set to legacy! If you want to double check you could give MSI a call.
The nvidia 600/700 series isnt compatible with non UEFI motherboards, the legacy mode is a type of bios that is installed on the card that allows it to work with older non UEFI motherboards like mine (my pc was bought in 2011 before UEFI started shipping with hp pavilions in 2012 most modern day graphics card are only shipped with UEFI bios and dont work with legacy bios).
