Question about motherboard and boot drive compatibility

Wondering if anyone sees any problems with this motherboard and this boot drive. I'm new to M.2. When I look at where I think the boot drive would go, I don't see a place where it screws flat against the motherboard as I thought these were to install.

those were designed to fit inside Laptops, tried to find reviews on it and only found laptop reviews, if you have the port for the M2 then it would just end up plugging into it , though like you, wonder about how supportive this would be in a desktop.

Thanks paladin. Still trying to understand M.2 and it sounds like I want a 950 or the new 960 as they have NVMe (something else I'm trying to learn about) to run on my new motherboard.
