Question question about mounting a case fan over a cpu air cooling heatsink

i am planning on buying an extra case fan to improve air flow in my pc, however i have a hyper 212 evo black cooler and i was wondering if i place the case fan on top of the heatsink will it rob the cpu cooling fan of airflow?

Maybe, maybe not. That's why it's imperative that you test your own setup.
With my hardware setup, I found that I didn't need ANY exhaust fans; they were actually just getting in the way and made things slightly worse.
