Ruining a 2.57 i7 ptocessor, windows 10. I put a 256k SSD in the main slot to run OS, put a1TB hdd in optical tray. Also upgraded ram from 4 to 8. I was totally winging it, runs great, but did I miss anything? Spent under $400 total, dream machine for my needs

Solution
I can't see anything missing, that is typically about as much as you can do for most laptops.

Good boot drive upgrade, plenty of data storage, and plenty of RAM. :)

And yeah for graphics. Sorry I know computers somewhat but no techie. I mostly game on ps4 but it can seem to steady at 60fps. Also love the 14.1 inch size, always had 15.4+ before. So easy to carry around

Not safely.

Speakers typically have a built-in limit to avoid blowout. If you try to get around that you might permanently damage the speaker. Would be best to get a pair of portable external speakers if you really wanted better audio.
