[SOLVED] Question about my new build

Hello everyone,

I very recently upgraded my build for gaming purpose only and was kind of looking around on hardware news and stuff then I started worrying a bit.

I saw that intel 10th gen was kind of close and that ddr5 ram might be kind of close too.

Here is my specs

CPU: i9-9900k

GPU: ASUS RTX 2070 SUPER OC

RAM: 32gb ddr4 3200 15 CL

MOTHERBOARD: Z390 Aorus Pro

SSD: Samsung 970 evo 500GB

PSU: seasonic prime gold 850w

Even when the upcoming new technologies, did I go wrong with my build or is it gonna be fine even after the 10th gen and ddr5 come out ?

Your 9900K will still be a good CPU even a few years from now, I wouldn't worry about it.
