My Build (can also see more in the link below):
CPU: Intel - Core i7-6700K
Motherboard: MSI - Z170A PC MATE ATX LGA1151
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400
G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
GPU: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW2 Gaming iCX

I just upgraded from a GTX 970 today but I am still getting about the same performance as I was before in games. I tried running a benchmark and these where my results:

Should I be worried.. it seems to be running below the level it should be. But there are no problems, like no overheating no fans spinning super fast, no crashes.

Edit: Was thinking about doing a clean install of Windows 10, I have been told that helps sometimes.
Edit: I should also mention that I was getting around 180 fps on low settings in CS:GO, that's the only number I can pull off the top of my head right now.

cs go is a very bad game to bench gpu. it's mostly cpu bounded.

i see absolutely no difference between my rx580 and my 1080ti.

during load, i noticed that my 1080ti doesn't even go into gpuboost mode (stays about 1570 mhz @ 25% usage, other game it will go up to 1980+mhz @ 50% usage).

if cs:go is the only game that you play, i would suggest overclock your cpu to 4.2 ~4.4ghz range
