Question about performance with my parts

So I'm running a GTX 960 for my GPU and an AMD 6300 for the CPU, but I seem to get below average quality for what I thought this rig could run. Battlefield 1 Beta is only able to get about an average of 45 on low, and the same for games like GTA V. Is my rig just not as good as I thought it was or is there a possible problem?

Depends on what your monitor resolution is. For 1080P it should be fine. If you want to run higher (1440P or 4K) it will definitely struggle.

I'm running it 720 so that's why I'm kinda confused.

A 960 will be plenty of power for 720P.
