Hello, I just have a quick question. I noticed that Windows 10 is constantly writing data to my SSD (Samsung Evo 850 250gb), around 5-6GB daily, which I suppose is probably normal, and I also downloaded a software called DiskCountersView to monitor the SSD write and read count. Here is a screenshot; https://gyazo.com/10d3c55e6398188c18b893da7bc31415
The stats you see there are about 15-20min old, since after every system restart the counter resets. So is this something I should be worried about, or it's totally normal? Thanks.

I think you should have nothing to worry about. If the drives are OK, those write shouldn't concern you that much. I'm not familiar with the software so I'm not sure how it measures the writes (e.g. by files, written sectors or otherwise), so you might want to get in touch with the developer's customer support and ask for more info on that. But as I've mentioned - it's probably nothing to worry about.
Hey there, Ante93.

I can't be sure what might be causing those writes every day, but there are things you could do to minimize that. Check out this tutorial: https://www.maketecheasier.com/12-things-you-must-do-when-running-a-solid-state-drive-in-windows-7/. Even though it says Windows 7, those tips are relevant for the newer versions as well. You could leave the system restore as it is a good idea to have a previous restore points just in case.

Hope that helps. Please let me know what happens after you try out those options.

I mean, the write count you see there is not the actual number of writes, at least it shouldn't be. I just copied a Windows 10 installation ISO file from my Hitachi drive to my second HDD (Western Digital) and it is being counted as 5000 writes
