[SOLVED] question about switching up SSD drives

hello guys,

I've been reading toms hardware for a very long time but now it's time for me to register and ask one question

so it goes;

I have Kingston A400 SSD (240gb), I bought Samsung 860 Evo V-nand (250gb), they are both SATA.

Now, I wanna give my old Kingston to my brother and plug Samsung into my machine.

Are they 'plug n play'? Can I just connect Samsung on Kingstons place, and install fresh windows and that's it?

Also after that, can I just connect Kingston into brothers PC and do the same thing? just install fresh windows and we are good to go?

If you're fresh installing windows - yes.
If not - you'd probably fail to boot the already installed OS.
