I just got a tempered glass case for the first time and I'm seeing a lot of people's glass exploding from ceramic tiles?

My whole house floor is in Ceramic tiles but my desk is made out of wood and glass on top, Is it dangerous to put the case on that desk?

Of course. Just make sure the ceramic tiles behave and stay on the floor and don't try attacking the innocent tempered glass on the desk.
