Hello

I want to buy 1080ti, but right now its cost 850$ (card and shipping),

and the titan xp collector's edition its cost 1200# (card and shipping)

so the question is that, how many years i can use titian xp as a gamer.. is it enough for 4k or 2k games for 4 years? or more?

your opinion will help me to buy my new card, i don't want spend 850 for 1080ti card and after 2 years will not be enough, that's why i Taken into consideration the titian xp..

Thank you

Solution
The XP is by no means going to last longer at 4k than the 1080Ti would.
Seriously, you are just burning money if you buy that card.

Consider all that extra money for the XP, by the time you need to upgrade there will be cards that easily outperform it for half the price. So why spend 350 dollars for maybe a few extra months between upgrades.

There is no reason to buy the XP, its not going to last longer, it wont give you better performance now, and it wont hold its value.
I currently have a custom water cooled gtx 1070. Was thinking about a 1080 ti... but also been looking at the Titan Xp. It will be just fine for 4k gaming. As for how many years.... obviously longer then any other card on the market(currently). There's really no way of saying for sure how long. It all depends on future system requirements.

Save yourself money and get a 1080 TI. its $700 and is within 1-3fps of the Titan Xp. Even faster if you get overclocked model. Neither card is enough for 4k gaming above 60fps and it will only get worse as newer games come out.

The Titan Xp is a joke. for $1200 I could get 2 used 1080 Ti and be faster by 30-40%

Edit: Where are you get $850 price? I literary just bought 4 1080Tis for $719 each a few days ago.

Thanks for reply buddy, do you play 4k games?

Thanks for reply man

I am from Iraq and 1080ti cost me with tax from amazon 850 $, that why i start thinking about titian xp collector's edition because the price not a lot between them

also i could not find 1080ti founders edition (699$) on nvidia website, its out of stock long time ago

Thank you

Thank you, Yes this is the idea, but i still don't know how many years can both titin can help with 4k games In comparison with 1080ti

Where he lives, the 1080 Ti is not much different(cost-wise) then the Xp.

He doesn't see it as much of a difference. As for myself... if I had to choose between a 1080 ti for $850 or a Titan Xp for $1200... I'd just spend the extra $350 and get the Xp.

Although since I can get a 1080 Ti for $709 here state side, then at that point I'd just settle for the 1080 Ti.
