Question Question about updating Drivers for an AMD APU...

So this might be a stupid question.

I have an A10-5800k APU for my processor, as well as an RX-480 for my GPU. The GPU drivers are up to date, but I'm curious about updating the drivers for the APU/processor. Since the APU has it's own graphics (HD 7660D), will installing new drivers for the APU mess up my driver installation for the GPU, or cause any kind of conflict or something?

I don't use the APU's included graphics for anything of course, but I don't want to leave the processors drivers un-updated if doing so could help performance in any way. But I also don't want to install anything unnecessary, especially if it could cause the APU's graphics to start conflicting in some way the the GPU's drivers.

(I'm aware now that the APU probably wasn't the best choice, but I didn't entirely know what I was doing when I put it together some years go. ).

You won't hurt or change anything by updating the chipset drivers for your motherboard, if that is what you mean. If you mean something else, please post a link to the driver you mean.

I want to make sure that installing the newest APU drivers won't cause conflicts with my GPU drivers because of the graphics included with the APU.

Your link simply goes to the home page for the Drivers and Software. But I'm going to guess you mean the Catalyst Software Suite or Radeon Software Crimson Edition Beta. Those drivers are for the chipset and perfectly safe to update to w/o worry of interfering with your RX 480 driver.
