Question Question about upgrading.

I have my eyes set on buying a Intel Core i9-9900K processor and a CORSAIR H100i RGB PLATINUM AIO Liquid CPU Cooler,240mm water cooler to go with it. One thing that has me wondering is that it says "socket support _"
I just wanted to know before I spend hundreds of dollars if my motherboard will work with it or I'll need a new motherboard too.
My Motherboard is: ROG MAXIMUS X APEX

I think the i7-8700k is the fastest for that MB.
