Question before purchasing a 3TB internal HDD!

Hi guys,
My current MB is Gigabyte H87M-D3H and OS is Win 10 X64. My question is, if I buy a 3TB internal HDD, will it support that? O do I need to do something in the BIOS or should I stick to 2TB or lower internal HDDs?

1. Don't get a Seagate HDD, they die quickly.
2. If you plan to boot off it, you need an UEFI BIOS and the HDD formatted with GPT rather than MBR.

1. I am going to buy HGST (Hitachi) drive not a Seagate drive, so no issue there.
2. Will use that as my secondary storage.

Good choice HGST very reliable.
Use diskmanager to format it with GPT.
