Hello i was wondering i am having lag problems when playing some games like crysis 2 assassins creed brother hood mafia 2033 etc..

And i was wondering what i should upgrade in order to stop this lag problem

It could be your connection...check how many mbs (mega bits per second)..are you running wireless or wired?Some games just HAVE this issue in general...like certain servers..sometimes it's not even your issue but the servers...most games don't utilize more than 4gb of R.A.M...you don't need to upgrade this and if you do you would want to go to 1600mHz..but you really won't be able to tell the difference...unless you are doing Photoshop..or something ...that actually requires alot of R.A.M. at high speeds...

Ok first thing first, Lag only happens on online games, as result of communication latency, which is the time taken for a sent packet of data to be received at the other end.Therefor you must likely referring to choppiness that occurs when you're playing at a such massive resolution and max settings on the game, the GTX 570 its by no mean a weak card, for me to recommend any type of upgrade i need to know, what resolution are you gaming on, whats your budget, how much are you willing to pay, and what kind of performance boost are you looking for, lets say Crysis 2 has High settings but you want to be able to run on Enthusiast setting or that sort of thing, please be specific to what exactly do you want to be able to get out of this upgrade and how much you willing to pay?

Your processor is the bottleneck there. Here are your options:

a) Overclock!

b) Buy a Q9550 or other newer socket 775 chip (keep the same motherboard, RAM, etc.)

c) Buy a new CPU, motherboard and memory (like an i5 2500k, 4gb DDR3 RAM, P67 motherboard - or whatever)
