question on playing a video from a dvd disk on an xbox

i have a video on my pc in mp4 format.

im trying to give it to some one so they can watch it on there xbox.

what do i have to do to the file and how do i need to put it on the disk for him to watch? i dont own and have never used a 360 or xbox 1 so i dont know how they work. can i just drag and drop them onto the disk or do i have to convert them and burn them on to it.

is there a usb slot on an xbox can i just put the files on a flash drive and have him play it like that or does that only work on a pc.

1) you have to use a disc. Its not like a PC where you can just click the video in a USB drive.
2) You can drag and drop the file onto the disc file but then at the top you should see something that says burn to disc. Click that.
3) Give the disc to them and begin watching!
