Was thinking about upgrading my system but feel that what I have is really all I need for what type of games I play. Below is what I currently have and below that is what I was thinking about purchasing. The type of games I play are survival like Valheim, Enshrouded and Sons of the Forest. I would like to wait a year or so and see what comes next for the AM5 8000 series CPU's from AMD. If I do upgrade I was going to keep My current GPU the RX 7900GRE. Thank you

if im quite honest, you have a very high end pc, you prob will be fine with it for the next few years. unless you have issues like rgd asked, you prob dont need to upgrade.

No issues with the games I play currently. This is why I was thinking just keep my money and save for upgrades in a year or two. I do think I will upgrade to the Seasonic Focus V3 GX-850 Power Supply. I did upgrade my monitor and GPU this year was using a RX 7600XT and 1080p monitor. Thank you all

This is the mindset you should have regarding upgrades. If you don't feel a need for more performance, then keep putting more money into the pot for the next build whenever you can.

Honestly, your system is very solid as it is right now, you really shouldn't need to worry about an upgrade on much of anything for another 2 - 3 years or so. Realistically that system shouldn't be under powered and unable to play the latest games with reasonable settings for quite some time, like around the next console generation in 2028 or so. I definitely get it if you have the itch to upgrade, or if there is another Crysis moment that challenges established system requirements, but if you wanted to sit on that, you should be good for quite a bit.

RGB is ok and I myself liked it but it was the software that cause me to call it quits on rgb.

Thank you all for the advise and comments I plan to just hold off and save. Lets see what comes out in the next year or two.
