So I bought a new laptop, Ryzen 5 5600H and an RTX 3060. When I opened the laptop Radeon software was preinstalled. I tried to look around, but didn't really find any relevant information about it online. My question is that is there any reason I should use RS or Nvidia control panel is enough, because I don't think AMD graphics technologies will work with an RTX card. Also the power saving/performance settings in RS are any better than those automatically on the computer? I mean, the GPU already would't really spin up without plugging it in, only the APU works I guess. Lastly, RS software says that Freesync is enabled and Nvidia control panel says that the display is gsync capable (not just compatible) can both be true at the same time and how would this work?

Solution
Leave it alone. The laptop is primarily going to be using the integrated GPU in the processor. The NVIDIA GPU is used when you run games, however the laptop's display is still driven by the integrated GPU.
