Question Question: Secure Erase via BIOs s

Hi, is secure erase using your BIOS (I have an ASUS motherboard) safe?

1. What I mean does it reduce SSD lifespan and cause problems to it?
2. Or is it better to use SSD manufacturer's software like Samsung Magician to perform the secure erase?

Or does it not really matter which because they are both safe and performance and lifespan is minimally affected.

Based on your answers is this order correct?

1. Software manufacturer
2. Motherboard
3. Quick format
4. Full format
5. (or drill a hole into your SSD... lol)
