just curious what is a good upgrade from what I currently have?
I have
I currently have:
Asrock B75 Pro3 Motherboard
2x8Gb/1x4gb DDR3 RAM (20gigs)
Intel Core i3-3220 Processor (Getting an I7 3770) within a week, however, I am told the i7 will not do peak performance on mycurrent motherboard, to limit having to buy new ram, when I get a ddr4 supporting motherboard, is there any better motherboards out there for gaming wise, that would support the processor I am getting in with 1155 socket, and my ram? or is my motherboard good enough?

return the 3770, they only use ddr3
get a new system.
would this setup last me a while gaming wise before I would have to do that? I am in the transition of getting a new job and don't want to spend a lot of funds until I work out the pay method and bills,

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i3 3220 @ 3.30GHz 102 °C
(I7 coming soon)
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
RAM
20.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
ASRock B75 Pro3 (CPUSocket) 27 °C
Graphics
HP 2009 (1600x900@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (EVGA) if so, I can use this for my Plex server setup in the future and buy a new rig then, I actually managed to snag the i7 for 80$ with shipping on ebay, which is a steal considering it is like a 400$ processor, if this can last me a while gaming wise, then I would be content as I don't play games heavily, mainly call of duty and going to play technomancer when it comes, which I just looked and is supported by my gpu/future cpu and ram, if there isn't a better ddr3 moboard then I will be content with this for the time being, if you think it will last a while.
