if you are using a router the NAT will kinda sorta scramble it. It will take them time to determine exactly your computers information, but they will be able to identify your traffic to your external IP faster and easier. Basically saying, whatever you have on that gateway is seen as one device from the outside. Ports are used to NAT correctly, but a single computer can use many many ports, so it is even harder to determine... unless you tell them what is what then they know.

just what exactly are you paranoid about?
 


In a strict term, this is not cheating, but it's getting information without any work, like doing a paper on something by using a web search and not actually learning about the topic. The standard reply to an obvious homework question is "do your own research and find the answer".

so this is cheating to have someone else do the work for you... i hope this guy doesn't work on my city's ISP network... i'd rather have someone who knows this stuff than someone who got by on someone elses back.
