Woke up when computer screen turned on late last night. Saw someone scrolling around trying to access c0inbase & purchase items in Chrome (win11 desktop).

Fortunately, I pulled the networking cable within a few minutes after they logged on.

Is there some way to tell how this program was installed? Perhaps where the installation files are located and what program initiated installation? Are there log files that can be accessed? I want to figure out how I ended up with this program & the source.

Is there a way to block this program in the win11 firewall to help prevent future incursions?

Windows Defender hasn't thrown up any alerts. What is the best way to make sure this machine & others on my home network aren't infected?

I changed a number of my sensitive pw & haven't received any unexpected emails from my google and comcast accounts.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
