I am what you call a PC noob ,I got my first build ready.

I don't know what stuff in my motherboard I need to update using the motherboard utilities besides the UEFI.

While using the ASUS support site http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VII_HERO/HelpDesk_Download/

you get Drivers and Tools for your motherboard meshed together in the same sector , so for a motherboard noob , what differs a Tool from a Driver ?

How do you install the other stuff that update your motherboard (that are not UEFI updates.) ?

What is the other stuff that require using the motherboard utilities in order to update some operations any way ? (if there is other stuff that require using the motherboard utilities in order to update , like for example a UEFI version update)

Thank you all for the help.

Solution
Drivers are for your nic, chipset, usb to update there functionality or fix bugs etc. Utilities are the apps to help you control certain aspects of the board. Over clocking, bios update, temp monitors, fan control etc...
Seems like I overreacted , thanks for the clarification.

I learned more about this , and turn out that you just run a program in order to update the chipset , might be the case for the other drivers as well.
