I'm still pretty new with pc gaming and was just curious how to monitor my CPU, GPU heat..and at what temperature I should try and stay under. Right now i'm using Pulseway on windows 8, but I cant find where it tells me my GPU heat. This is my rig in case you need to know.
CPU - Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5 GHz
Motherboard - ASUS Z87 Sabertooth
CPU Fan - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Video Card - EVGA GTX 780 Ti Classified
RAM - Kingston HyperX Blu 16GB
SSD - Crucial M500 240GB
HDD - Western Digital Blue 1TB
Case - CM Storm Stryker – Full Tower
Power Supply - Seasonic M12II-850
Optical Drive - blu-ray
(Also i'm running at 1440 resolution)
Also is there additional things you can buy to keep the heat down? It's not that my pc is running too hot, I had an issue a long time ago where I basically destroyed my laptop due to extreme heat and I'm just being extra cautious. Thanks for any help regarding PC temps. I'm still new with pc gaming and I'd rather be safe than sorry.
