erghh m0nstor i dnno how im gonna do this then. i think i have Windows XP SP1 on a disc and upgraded later on to SP2 threw windows update. so how am i going to install the windows?
The red box is vents(on both sides) to allow air in even when the door is closed.
The blue boxes are fan locations. The one on the inside of the top hard drive cage is optional...the back bottom is the location of a PSU fan/vent..
The Green boxes are hard drive locations. Use the bottom one first
You can see the air flow direction with arrows....the back fans blow air out of the case, as does the power supply. So your hard drive will be well cooled.
If you use a long video card you can take out the top hard drive cage to make more room and clean things up a bit....
The dark green line is the divider. This keeps the PSU and HDD's isolated from system heat. This results in a cooler quieter power supply....
With a blank cd and CD Burner.... XP has not been on dvd as far as i know.....Well some illegal copies are....but legal copies are 1 CD for XP Home/Pro and 2 for MCE2005(The 2nd cd just has a few files on it...MCE feature roll outs and such...)
This one is a little easier to do...it has less steps....either way i suggest you rename the SP2 offline installation to sp2.exe to make it easier to type in the command prompt....also making your files right on the c drive also saves you some typing......
