So I am going to be buying a new PC, and this time I am going all out, its been a long time since I have upgraded, and have been running an i5 6500p for too long, CPU maxing 100% not running well in games, making me stutter.

This is the current system I have built on PCPartPicker, now there are some things missing which I require some thought and help on.

I have gone for a Phanteks case as looking at other builds it looks fairly nice and spacious, I was going to get all Phantek fans + Liquid CPU cooler but Phanteks liquid cooler does not have a LED screen on it, I know alot of people are against the whole LED and RGB but as im going all out I might as well, but should I get a branded Liquid cooler with LED and pair it with the same branded fans also for the case?
Regarding the Fans some of them say "reversed" what does this mean, do I need reversed or not? at the moment I have selected the normal Phanteks RGB fans on my part list.
Now for the RAM i have chosen the Corsair ddr5 6500, in terms of this is other Ram better? should I choose maybe Teamgroup T-Force delta ram over corsair? or not.

The part I have struggled with a little bit is what Motherboard I should get, im looking at getting the i7 14700K, and would like the motherboard to somewhat include most functionality and the best functionality, but what brand and what motherboard would be good?

No GPU selected yet, although I will be perhaps thinking of getting the 4070.

If someone could help me out that would be great. Also will be needed NVME Storage, maybe 2 for the Motherboard?

Here is some inspirational builds i have been interested in:

I would skip the sleeved cable extensions, instead would opt for custom length sleeved cables from the PSU to your devices. Avoids the added cable length and a much more cleaner look, IMHO. Also I sleeve my own cables, and you don't need to stow cables in nooks or crannies.

I would've opted for a DDR5-6600MHz ram kit instead of the one you've picked out. Your listing is devoid of a CPU cooler are you recycling an older one or have you left that open for suggestions from us? I tend to go for a smaller capacity SSD for the OS, app's and launchers while a larger SSD acts as the game library. If the system is meant for content creation, then a mechanical drive to house all finalized projects.

Speaking of suggestions, you need to include the max budget you have for your build and the remaining parts that are meant to go into your build. You're also asked to mention the purpose of this build and the titles/app's you'll be taxing the system with.

Approximate Purchase Date: This Week

Budget Range:
£1500/£2000 ( As my current PCPartPicker list is already at £1000 without the GPU and Storage or CPU Coolers etc.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming mainly, Surfing the internet, watching streams, sometimes some work on Excel.

Are you buying a monitor: No ( I will do this after as its not as important atm, although I will be looking to buy 144Hz monitors )

Parts to Upgrade: N/A

Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:
Amazon, Newegg, I use PCPartPicker to find cheapest place sales...

Location: UK

Parts Preferences: I would prefer Intel

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 will probably stay same but change Hz

Additional Comments: Window all the way round, so I can see, would like to colour scheme with RGB lighting, so fans etc to have RGB on, preferably quieter than loud.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Current PC is old, very outdated, cant even run COD without getting 15FPS, CPU Maxes at 100% and stops my microphone from working, stuttering etc.

Include a list of any parts you have already selected with descriptively labelled links for parts.

Sorry my bad, I have posted above the template, also the Link to the parts I have at current, I need a CPU cooler, but I would like one with a LED display, but Phanteks don't do a display, so would it be better to change all the individual fans from Phanteks to the same brand as the CPU cooler with a display on?

Not sure what RAM would be better, or if the one i selected is fine?

Not sure what Motherboard to go for, but would like a brand that is well known for good functionality and looks good in the system.
