Ok so since i first started playing on a PC,i have been using 60Hz monitor and i decided to finally upgrade to 144Hz.My question is will it be able to run my games smoothly. On the more demanding games like Apex Legends i get around 120-130 FPS,GTA V 110-120 and others around the same numbers. How much will my CPU / GPU Usage increase (If it even increases) And if there might be any problems please let me know even the smallest thing.

Refresh rates don't affect GPU performance, it just allows you to see the frames at a faster rate which reduces stutters and blurriness in dynamic movement. The real performance affects come from upgrading resolution size. For example, if you go from a 1080p 60hz to a 1080p 144Hz, you won't lose any FPS. However, if you go from 1080p 60hz to 1440p 144hz, then you will lose some FPS since the GPU needs to push more data to more pixels.

At 144hz, your games will feel much more smoother. I have a 1440p 144hz and an old 1080p 60Hz next to it and the difference is night and day. I've gotten so much better at FPS games because of how easier it has become to track objects quickly.

120FPS on a 60hz monitor would put the same load on the GPU and CPU as a 144hz monitor would, assuming they are the same resolution. Going from a 1080p to say a 1440p monitor would increase load on the GPU and decrese load on the CPU in most games, for example.
