S strokebow Dec 12, 2024 2 0 10 Yesterday at 8:23 AM #1 Quick q. I'm installing pny Nvidia rtx 5000 Ada 32gb. The cable it comes with plugs in to my GPU and splits in to 2x 8 pin connectors for the PSU. Do I need to connect the PSU to both of these or just one of them? Thanks in advance

faalin Illustrious Feb 22, 2012 6,289 493 41,240 Yesterday at 12:22 PM #5 If your power supply has the 12+4 pin cable you can use that, if not then you will need to plug both 8 pins into the Y cable that came with the card. Do not use 2 8 pins off the same cable, you need two dedicated 8 pins coming from the PSU. Upvote 0 Downvote
