[SOLVED] Quick question about SSD compatibility with motherboard

Hey,

I'm about to buy a new SSD for my Asus Z97-A motherboard ( https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z97A/ ) - https://www.samsung.com/uk/memory-storage/970-evoplus-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7S500BW/ caught my attention, but i've never dealt with this kind of SSD before and i'm not quite sure if my motherboard is compatible with it. If it is, are there going to be any problems with those two working together (such as bottleneck etc.)

Yes, that motherboard has an M.2 slot that supports PCI NVME M.2 devices which is what that drive is. If you decide to go with a different M.2 drive, just make sure it is not a SATA M.2 drive. It must be PCI to work with that motherboard.
