Quick! Questions about motherboard.

Alrighty, so I bought a 980 ti and before it came my PC went into shutdown and would boot but not display and shutdown again, every 5 seconds. Took it to my mates PC shop and he believes it's the motherboard or the CPU. He doesn't believe it's the CPU because it wouldn't boot at all. So it relys on the motherboard. I'm trying to spend under 100 pound as money's tight but I'll probably have to spend a bit more.

I'm in an NZXT 340, with a 4670k, CX 600 (Which needs to be upgraded eventually) and I had a z87 HD3 which was the bad board. 16GB of Vengeance.

I've been looking at the MSI Krait SLI Edition, suggestions?

the cx power supply is a bad unit. before you swap or buy a mb have your friend at the shop pull your gpu and wiht a test power supply see if it posts fine from onboard video. as the z87 a new mb it should still be under warranty from the mb vendor. all you need is go to the mb vendor web page and check by the mb serial number.

It was already tested, The power supply isn't the problem and everything has been tried and tested or figured out, The z87-hd3 isn't able to be sent back.
