quiet mid- range card

I'd like to update one of my spare systems , currently has on-board GF4-mx on soltek nforce 2 board
currently its almost silent , like to keep it that way ,
whats a good , very quiet card in the ATi9600/ fx5700
performance range or just buy any suitable card and use a Zalman passive cooler

Radeon 9600 non-pros come with passive cooling. Faster than your integrated video. Quieter, but a little slower than a Ti4200.

IF you want a new card, then get a Sapphire R9600PRO/XT Ultimate Edition, they come with the Zalman heatpipe already on.

Otherwise yeah you can add a zalman to whichever one you want.
An R9600 non-pro with passive cooling is OK (and can beat a GF4ti in many instances) but I'd go for the Pro or XT If I were you, it's a good bump in performance.
