[SOLVED] R5 2600+a320 gigabyte mobo or r5 1600 on a b350 mobo?

Both are bundled but the r5 1600 on a b350 mobo is a bit expensive than the 2600+a320

the 1600 and the board it comes with can overclock, the 2600 will be paired with a chipset that will no allow overclocking.

Bite the bullet get the 2600 + B350 and get the best of both worlds.

To get the most from Ryzen you'll want to overclock so the 1600/B350 is a much better choice then the 2600/A320, plus the A320 may not even support the 2600 unless the BIOS have been updated. Also for Ryzen you'll want to pair it with fast memory, 2800mhz+ up to 3200mhz in dual channel (2x4gb if on budget).

Ryzen 5 2600 and ryzen 5 1600 should be roughly same price.
never get A320m. You can't even overclock ram, gpu, or cpu.

Just make sure that you update the B350 if you're going to pair up with the ryzen 2nd-gen CPUs.
