Question R5 2600 vs i3 9100f

So i'm planting to buy a new cpu but dont know which one will better for gaming like csgo and league of legends.

Keep in mind, that these are two different platforms and you will have to get different motherboards to run these.

Clearly the AMD Ryzen, but you will have to add a GPU
If you don´t have or wanna get a GPU, the 9100F would be your choice.

But eventually you should look into a R5 2400G or a 3400G without extra graphics card.

the 9100 is quad core and quad thread....which is already thread challenged in many games, although CS;GO is probably the least affected, but, many other games will do better with more threads/cores

I would easily go for the 2600 , given those two choices...every day....!
