R7 1700x vs. i7 6850k

I'm upgrading my cpu very soon. I have the opportunity to get the 6850k for around the same price as the 1700x. I'm going to be gaming and streaming. If you guys have any benchmarks that pit those two cpus against each other that would be great

The 6850k is on sale at Microcenter for $299 this week. That is a wonderful deal, especially if you run sli or have multiple NVME SSDs. I would go for the 6850k for that price over the 1700. You wont have to deal with the RAM speed and compatibility problems either. However, the X99 boards cost a lot more than the AMD4 boards. So if you have the cash, then I would go for the 6850k.

I'd go 1700, better future and performs the same for less and mobo prices are cheaper
