r7 250 physx

i asked in my last thred if i could use a r7 250 in a 250w pc and it worked but there were some problems so it is not being used anymore for that. so my new question is will it work as a physx card on my rig? i got a 6700k and 970 sli or is useing it a waste of time? and if i use it how much more profomance will i get

No, you can't.

PhysX only works with Cuda and Cuda is an Nvidia only thing.

They had dedicated PhysX cards in the past but those days are long gone.

Physx is nvidia exclusive. You cannot use an AMD card to run it. It's not even a choice

i also have a old gt 730 in my closet would that work?

I'm pretty sure the GT 730 is too weak to make a difference as a physx card in a 970 sli setup.

I don't think there are all that many games that use hardware-accelerated physx anyway.
