I'm looking at building this machine:

Just a little background, this machine is not going to be used mainly for gaming, its going to be used mainly as a music production machine, or workstation. Also, i'm not a hardcore gamer by ANY means, however i want to get into doing some gaming from time to time.
And as you can see, i have the R7 260 chosen, however i'm kind of stuck on which GPU i should get.
The two i'm looking at are both from MSI, and are both $94.99 USD, free shipping, no rebates.

no. i'd call it "barely enough to chug along 1080p".

Wow. o_O
I thought an R7 260x could handle 1080p without a hitch, that's a bit surprising to hear.

you'll be fine as long as you stay away from graphics intensive games like bf4.

I played BF4 at 45-50 fps at high settings with resolution 1600 X 900 with sapphire radeon r7 260x OC. So one can assume the card can handle BF4 at medium settings at 1080p giving stable 30 fps. Also Radeon R7 260X has true audio technology that is absent in radeon r7 250X.
