Hi . I just upgraded a new graphic card last week . The problem is , when i'm playing dota 2 , sometimes my screen is flickering or flashing . And sometimes there's something flickering whenever i press refresh button like "chess board" on my desktop wallpaper . Is it because im not properly installed the graphic card or the graphic card driver ? All this while seems to be nothing problem with gtx 630 1gb ddr3 . And one more thing , sometimes my cpu's temperature is going up very high (over than 80 celcius) , and error "Warning, 70 centigrade bla bla bla) always poped out . My pc's specs are :-

i5 3.33ghz
Asus mobo p8h77-m le
4gb ram 1333mhz ddr3
R7 260x 2gb ddr5
1TB hdd
Samsung dvd writer
Normal psu that comes with casing (500w i think)

Really need helps . It's really getting on my nerves with that kind of flickering screen .

Solution
Could be a heat issue from the CPU. Either reapply thermal paste or install an aftermarket cooler. You can also do a clean reinstall of the drivers, and possibly reinstall the game also.

Did you uninstall all nvidia software before upgrading?

Yeahh ! About the cpu's temperature , I managed to keep it cool by reapplied the thermal paste and cleaned the fans and heatsink . I'm planning to get an aftermarket heatsink fan which is I'm confused to get one and a decent PSU , 500W will be do . My friend said that my default PSU is 250W pure not 500W . Haha sorry 😛 . What do you guys suggest an aftermarket HSF that fits with i5 3550 (affordable price) ? About the graphic card , I did a clean uninstall . Nothing seems to be leftover . Hmm nvm , I'll wait until this weekend , if the problem keeps occur , I'll reinstall the driver . Thank you for the thermal paste idea =) .

hyper 212 evo right now is best cpu cooler for it's price.
as for psu go for xfx 550w pro, antec 520w gamer, seasonic s12-520w, super flower 550w if you want sli or cougar powerX 550w (v2 version only).
even corsair cx 500w will do well.

that's why I said "even" cx will do lol.
I mean cougar powerx was crap compared to cx versions which were low even then. since v2 powerx came out even cougar powerx plays football with cx corsair now. poor old cx.

with my HD6570 nothing have crash too, after i use Asus R7 260x Direct CU II OC, played Dota 2 too and have the same problems.
i already uninstall all driver, install latest driver, still got this crash.

did you happen this weird graphic ? http://prntscr.com/2nl8li

Ya , I'm having the same problem too . Same as the screenshot you have attached . What is the power of PSU you're using now ? I think the psu problem . This R7 needs more power . I have'nt change my psu yet . The psu in my country is extremely expensive .
